This week, Artificial Intelligence Uni (London) and ACM Agile Danışmanlık A.Ş. (İstanbul) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bring the Certified Forward Deployed Engineer (CFDE)™ programme to engineers in Türkiye.
The MoU was signed by Noman Shah FBCS, Director, for AIU, and Mehmet Yitmen, Managing Partner, for ACM.
Why it matters
Forward Deployed Engineers build and deploy AI systems inside client organisations. It is the role that turns an AI pilot into a system that runs in production, and demand for engineers who can do it is growing across the AI industry.
AIU is the home of the CFDE™ programme. It introduced the standard and the certification in 2025, and delivers the training online and on-site for organisations.
About ACM
ACM Agile Danışmanlık A.Ş. is a transformation and technology company based in İstanbul. It designs business processes from the ground up around AI agents, and delivers training in Turkish and English.
What the MoU sets out
The MoU is an important first step in establishing a collaborative relationship between the two organisations in the region. Under it, AIU and ACM intend to:
- deliver CFDE Foundation training in Türkiye through ACM, vetted by AIU
- certify candidates through the CFDE examination, leading to AIU’s CFDE credential
AIU has designated ACM as Preferred Authorised CFDE Training Provider for Türkiye and the South Caucasus.
