Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the AIU.ac website and your enrolment on courses and certifications provided by Artificial Intelligence Uni Ltd, trading as Artificial Intelligence University (“AIU”, “we”, “us”). By using this site or enrolling, you agree to these terms.
Artificial Intelligence Uni Ltd is registered in England & Wales (Company No. 14543918). Contact: hi@aiu.ac.
Using this website
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use content from it for commercial purposes without our permission. Content on this site is owned by or licensed to AIU and is protected by intellectual-property law.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
Enrolment and payment
Course and certification fees, and what each includes, are shown at the point of enrolment. Enrolment is complete when we confirm your place. Payment is taken on-site at the time of enrolment unless stated otherwise. Courses begin on a scheduled start date communicated to you.
Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your enrolment within 14 days of confirmation, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and receive a full refund, provided the course has not yet started. To cancel, email hi@aiu.ac within the 14-day period. Refunds are made using your original payment method within 14 days of our receiving your cancellation.
Refunds after a course has started, or after the 14-day period, are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy.
Changes to courses
We may change scheduled dates, format, or content where reasonably necessary, and will give you reasonable notice. If a change is significant and you do not wish to continue, we will offer a transfer or a refund of fees paid for the affected course.
Certification
Certification is awarded on meeting the published assessment requirements. A course place does not guarantee certification. Assessment, results, and appeals are governed by the terms provided with the relevant programme.
Conduct and integrity
We expect honest and lawful conduct from everyone who uses our site or enrols with us. The following are not permitted and are treated as serious breaches of these terms:
- Unfair means in any assessment, including cheating, plagiarism, impersonation, or collusion.
- Intellectual-property theft, including copying, redistributing, or reselling our course materials, assessments, or credentials without permission.
- Cyber abuse, including unauthorised access, interference with our systems, or any attempt to compromise the security or integrity of our platform or other users.
Where we find, on reasonable grounds, that a person has engaged in any of the above, we may withhold or revoke certification, terminate access without refund, and permanently exclude that person from admission to AIU programmes. Serious matters may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Third-party and partner courses
Where we link to courses on third-party platforms, your purchase and contract are with that provider, not with AIU, and are subject to the provider’s own terms. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Our responsibility
We provide our courses and site with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breach, and our total liability in connection with a course is limited to the fees you paid for it. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Privacy
We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England & Wales. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published here applies to your use of the site and any new enrolment.
