Environmental Policy

Artificial Intelligence University (AIU.ac) is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its operations and to operating as a responsible, low-carbon business.

Our commitment

We have made the SME Climate Commitment through the SME Climate Hub, pledging to halve our greenhouse-gas emissions by 2030 and to reach net zero by 2050, in line with the UN Race to Zero campaign.

How we work toward it

• We operate primarily as a digital and remote organisation, which limits travel, premises, and material use.
• We prefer cloud and infrastructure providers that report on energy efficiency and carbon.
• We favour digital delivery and materials over print wherever practical.
• We review our practices periodically and look for further reductions as we grow.

Progress and review

As a small organisation, our approach is proportionate and practical. We will report on progress against our commitment as our measurement matures.
